RBK Kids
We believe in the importance of planting seeds of faith and nurturing a love for God in the hearts of our kids.
We want every child to know that they are deeply loved by God and to grow in their faith with joy and confidence.
What to Expect
Through engaging Bible lessons, interactive activities, and building genuine friendships, our desire is for kids to develop a lifelong love and devotion toward Him. We're also here to encourage and support parents in creating a home where God's presence is cherished.
If it’s your first time
When you arrive, you’ll check your child in at the Kids Check-In located to the right of the main entrance. Our team will be there to greet you, answer any questions, and help make the process smooth and easy.
After check-in, your child will be guided to their age-appropriate classroom where they’ll enjoy a time of worship, teaching, and activities designed just for them.
If it’s your first time visiting, we recommend arriving a few minutes early so we can help you get registered and answer any questions you might have. We’re here to make your experience easy and welcoming.
check-in
Check-in is located immediately to the right of the main entrance and opens 30 minutes before service begins. For your child’s safety and security, please check them in before attending worship.
Kids dismissal & Pick up
Children 0–4 years old can be dropped off as early as 30 minutes before service. Check-in closes 30 minutes after worship begins. At the end of service, children can be picked up in their corresponding classes.
Children Kindergarten-6th grade will attend worship as a family and be dismissed to their classes before the start of the sermon. Elementary teachers will come to the auditorium and escort the children to their classes. Children can be picked up in their corresponding classes immediately after the end of service.
During checkout, you will need to give your matching tag to your child’s teacher in order for your child to be released back to you.

Nursery is available as early as one month old, or as parents feel comfortable. We’ve noticed that children brought to the nursery prior to 8 months old are less likely to experience separation anxiety as they grow older.
-
You’re welcome to bring your child’s diaper bag and comfort items like a pacifier or security blanket—just be sure everything is clearly labeled. To help us keep the environment simple and organized, we ask that toys and dolls stay at home.
For health and safety reasons, our nursery team is unable to mix bottles, so please come with your child’s bottle pre-prepared.
-
For the health and safety of all our children and volunteers, we ask that you don’t check in your child into a classroom if they are experiencing any of the following symptoms:
Fever of 100° or higher
Vomiting or diarrhea
Conjunctivitis (pink eye or other eye infection)
Rash
Green or yellow nasal drainage
Sore throat
Open sores
Cold or flu symptoms
Excessive coughing
Lice
COVID
If your child begins to show any of these symptoms while in class, we’ll contact you so they can be picked up promptly.

Nursery classes are led by staff and volunteers, all of whom have completed the application process and gone through mandatory training and background checks. We hold annual comprehensive training to ensure our volunteers follow our policies and are equipped to nurture your children.
At least two adults are always present with children. No child will be left alone with one adult in a classroom.
We allow youth to volunteer as well, always alongside at least one other adult. They must be at least 14 years old to serve in the nursery, 12 years old to work in the two-year-olds’ classrooms, and preschool.
-
Each nursery classroom is designed with your child’s age and development in mind, with specific adult-to-child ratios to ensure a safe and attentive environment:
Infants & Crawlers: 1 adult for every 3 children
Walkers: 1 adult for every 4 children
Twos: 1 adult for every 5 children
Pre-K: 1 adult for every 6 children
Elementary: 2 adults for every 10 children
We carefully monitor these ratios in every classroom. If a room exceeds the appropriate ratio, an area supervisor may ask parents to step in and help. In some cases, a classroom may need to close if enough volunteers are not available.
For added safety, we follow a two-adult policy in every classroom. This means there are always at least two adults present—one of whom is a woman—while children are in the room. This helps create a secure environment for our kids and provides accountability and protection for both children and volunteers.

If your child has any allergies or special conditions, please explain them in detail to the staff member at check-in and to the volunteer leading your child’s class.
Make sure allergies are listed in your child’s check-in account. When allergies are correctly noted in the system, they will be printed on your child’s name tag.
If your child has severe allergies requiring epinephrine, please give the medication to the staff coordinator.

Yes! We are committed to caring for children with special needs. Inform a staff person that your child has special needs, and discuss any special instructions with class teachers. You may attend class with your child for the first few weeks to help them get acquainted with the classroom environment. During this time, inform staff and volunteers of any routines and practices that will help your child thrive. As always, we welcome suggestions for how we can best serve your family.
If your child needs one-on-one attention, please let us know and we can assign a volunteer attentive to your child’s needs. With a special needs volunteer, your child will be in a small classroom environment for most of the class time.
Please contact Children's Ministry Manager, Maria Mabini, for more information.
